Abstract
This article argues that although the EU has made vast efforts to realize its goals regarding economic integration, it failed to achieve similar results in the field of political integration. The author studies the failure of the EU constitution prospect for the adoption of Lisbon treaty, and tries to advance different views on the future of the EU
